The Findlay Soccer Club strives to develop and promote soccer in the following areas:
(1) Through the Education of its Athletes:
FSC seeks to provide the best soccer training available through the recruitment and retention of professionally licensed coaches.This refers to coaches that have successfully attained licensure through the United States Soccer Federation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as well as other internationally recognized coaching schools. (UEFA, FA, etc.)The baseline for all FSC coaches is the USSF “D” license.
At the Juniors level FSC seeks to provide its athletes with Senior level (collegiate) coaches, and/or staff that have attained a residential coaching license through the USSF, or NSCAA.
(2) Through the Education of its Constituents and Community Base:
FSC seeks to facilitate the growth and development of each player within the club.In doing so, it is also vital that all others involved also understand the level of training required, commitment, and facility required to produce growth.
Through this educational process parents, constituents, and others will be empowered to help their soccer athletes seek high, realistic, attainable goals.
Through education FSC seeks to promote and maintain the highest level of soccer in the local area so that local athletes have the opportunity to develop and achieve in their “home environment."
(3) Through Ongoing Player, Coach and Program Evaluation:
With a licensed coaching staff, community support and a passion for excellence FSC strives to work with athletes and parents to assist them in attaining their goals.Through honest feedback, professionalism and quality organization FSC seeks to empower athletes to play at “the next level” (ie. Olympic Development Program, College, etc)
